Four days! Yes, in four days the gates will open for the Nebraska Fur Harvesters fall Convention. The bags are packed, route verified and vehicle ready for the trip to Lexington. Additional vendors are calling and several calls have fielded questions on the Lexington area. There is a lot of attractions so come early and stay late. The Johnson brothers are planning a very authentic demo area! Food vendors will be open on the grounds and the buildings are modern. This year will feature concrete floors which are very popular with everyone.
The vendor list along with the demo schedule is posted on other pages on this site. Do not forget to bring your raffle tickets and purchase additional ones at the NFH booth. A second raffle will be held along with the banquet and auction.
The meal ticket will include a raffle ticket to be drawn after the auction is finished. Speaking of the auction, bring those items that someone will value as a treasure. This is a major fundraiser for the association.
Those presenting the demos are chosen for their experience in the field. Their year of harvesting if added would total in the centuries. Thank each of the vendors/dealers who have chosen to attend the event. Their travels are constant while running business at home. Pickup those needed supplies while in Lexington. There will also be items one could take home to remember the weekend. Yes, as I write these words the convention is in the very near future!
