The Nebraska Fur Harvesters is a nonprofit organization. It is dedicated to preservation of your freedom to trap. Having been founded in 1973, it has established itself with a strong reputation and voice for the vital interest of all Nebraska trappers.

The NFH is affiliated with the National Trappers Association and Fur Takers of America and works closely with the Wildlife Legislative Fund of America, National Rifle Association, and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

The NFH was initially formed in a spirit of brotherhood to uphold the fundamental rights of trappers in our state, to promote fair and just trapping laws, and to ensure that trapping seasons are consistent with good wildlife management and conservation. It is making every effort to promote American wild fur and, with constant effort, to promote a fair price for all wild fur.
