Lexington! Yes, Lexington NE will be the site of the Nebraska Fur Harvesters fall convention. Mark your Calander and head for the Dawson County Fairgrounds September 26 & 27, 2026. The contract is signed and the two buildings we reserved are state of the art. Air, heat, concrete floors and modern restrooms. The grounds cover acres and there is ample camping for everyone.
Lexington is right on I-80 so travel will be easy and every convenience one could wish for is there. Restaurants, motels, shopping and every type of service one needs.
Johnson lake is a few miles south of town and the Military Vehicle Museum is very interesting at the I-80 exit. The area is rich in history, and I will mention attractions as time passes.
Following this past convention, I look for another well attended event. Stay tuned and as details become available, I will pass them on.
The spring meeting will be held in Hershey, NE (west of North Platte on I-80). Those details will be available in the near future.
As our association is of the members, by the members and for the members it is the intention to move gatherings around the state.
