Look to Lexington for the September 25th & 26th event (the 24th will be setup day).
Lexington is located right on I-80 at exit 237. The grounds are north of that location on the east side of the main drag.
Our association has been there in the past and the town looks forward to our return. The two main dealer buildings are modern settings with concrete floors. The restroom building is close and ample parking for everyone. The association has contracted the two vendor buildings and a separate building for meetings, banquets and auctions. There will be food trucks on site with many restaurants within the area. There are several quality motels close by, and I am working on an event host now.
One could say there is many acres of parking space available.
For the campers, in excess of 50 spaces are available with 50-amp service and water hookups. The area also has a dump site. Cost of hookup is $25 per day. Close to the camper pads sits a large shower/restroom building.
Stay tuned for I will post information as it becomes available.
Mark your Calander for April 11th!!! The NFH Spring meeting is being held in Hershey, NE. This is west of North Platte just off I-80.
Head for the American Legion building and plan to arrive for lunch before the meeting. Give Kevin Jones, at 402-432-4448, NFH president a call if you plan to attend the lunch. Heading there early, I would recommend staying on North Platte the night before the meeting.
Lord willing, I plan to see everyone there for both events.
For those interested, our association will once again be setting up at the Deer Expo in Lincoln next month. The dates are January 26th – 18th. I was fortunate to assist last year. Ther are always openings for additional persons to help. The public was very open to hear of sound scientific fur bearer management. Once again, call Kevin at the phone number listed above for information.
Until later, Tight chains and full stretchers! Roy
