Hats off to everyone who organized, help setup and attended the Nebraska Fur Harvesters convention in Chadron. The vendors were satisfied with sales; members enjoyed the demos and the auctions went very well.
For a change the weather cooperated, and it felt like fall. The Chadron area offered countless enjoyable attractions and the town itself included all the creature features anyone needed.
I arrived as couple of days early and toured the countryside. It would be hard to find a more beautiful area.
Next years Fall convention will be held in Lexington. As it customary the event will be the last full weekend of September , Sept. 25 & 26, 2026. Lexington is on I-80 and has ample motels, restaurants and facilities to host the event. Plans are in the early stage so watch for updates.
The Spring meeting will be held in Hershey; NE. Details will be provided in the near future so plan to attend. Once again Hershey is located west of North Platte on I-80.
